PRESERVING THE LUSTER
LAST ON, FIRST OFF
Jewelry should be the final touch of your morning and the first
piece removed at night.
Avoid contact with perfumes, hairsprays, and lotions to protect your plated finish or sterling silver. Please do not shower, swim or sleep wearing your pearl or handmade jewelry.

organic care
Pearls are organic gems that need to breathe. According GIA (Gemological Institute of America) guidelines, they should never be stored in airtight plastic. Wear them often—the natural oils from your skin help maintain their brilliant luster. With proper care, cultured pearls can provide their owner with a lifetime of enjoyment.
storage
Store pieces individually in the ME on Life pouch provided when not in use. This prevents the scratching of soft gemstones (like pearls) and slows the natural oxidation of 925 Sterling Silver.
the nature of pearls
Pearls are sensitive to acids and heat. Clean them only with a soft, damp cloth if needed. Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth if needed. Never submerge pearls or soft gemstones. Dry immediately and thoroughly.
Preserving the finish
Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemicals which can permanently
damage a pearl’s delicate nacre and plated jewelry finish.
Every purchase includes a Jewelry Care Card and velvet pouch.
Keep this in your jewelry box as a reminder of how to preserve the artisanal quality of your beautiful piece(s) from ME on Life.
